M33 diesel engine is a three-cylinder, four-stroke, water-cooled engine with a combined combustion chamber. The combination of a swirl chamber and direct injection provides relatively low fuel injection pressures, elasticity in operation, moderate combustion pressures, etc.
It is suitable for operation in all weather conditions which is why it is developed for tractor, industrial and marine application. For safe starting at low temperatures a suitable heater is installed. The optional equipment depends of engine application, installation, working conditions and customer’s demands.
The auxiliary devices are driven through timing gears or suitable crankshaft pulley on the front side of the engine.
The fuel is injected by the DPA pump with the mechanical governor, or by the in-line pump. The fuel is filtered through one or two filters. The main characteristics of this engine are:
Reliability in operation and long service life
Low maintenance costs and easy handling

| THE M33/I ENGINES FOR INDUSTRIAL APPLICATION |
They are installed in electro-generators, irrigation pumps, fork-lifts, compressors, drills, mills, etc. The continuous rated power of the engine is 27 kW at 2250 rpm and the peak torque is 132 Nm at 1250 rpm. Engine power for the total of one hour overload at any period in 12 hours of continuous work is 30 kW at 2250 rpm and the corresponding peak torque is 147 Nm at 1250 rpm. The minimum specific fuel consumption is 252 g/kWh. The engine specifications are given in gross values according to JUS M.F2.026 (25°C and 750mmHg) (DIN6271). According to the customer’s needs the engines are equipped with fuel tanks, flywheel housing, flywheel adjusted to the clutch, electrical equipment, instrument panel with the instruments, compressor etc.
